Data deletion instructions (FiscalNode DealerOS)
This page explains how to request deletion of personal information associated with a FiscalNode DealerOS customer account, including data obtained through optional Facebook Login (Meta). It is the dedicated data-deletion instructions URL for Meta / Facebook Login app settings.

How to request deletion
DealerOS does not currently offer an in-product “delete my account” button. To request closure or deletion:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line Account / data deletion request, or contact the participating dealership whose Hub you used.
- Include enough information for us to identify your account, for example:
- We may need to verify your identity before acting (for example by confirming control of the email address).
You can also revoke DealerOS’s Facebook Login access from your Facebook account settings. Revoking access stops future sign-in through Facebook but does not by itself delete your DealerOS records — still send a deletion request as above.
What we delete when we can
Subject to the retention rules below, a verified request typically covers platform-controlled customer sign-in data such as:
- the CustomerIdentity record linked to your Facebook (or other) sign-in (provider account identifier, email, display name);
- session / sign-in state so you are signed out of Hub Account; and
- other FiscalNode-controlled account linkage held solely for customer authentication on this install.
Where FiscalNode acts as processor for a dealership, we will pass or refer dealership-controlled deletion requests to that garage where appropriate.
What may be retained
Closing an account does not always mean immediate erasure of every associated record. Information may be retained where necessary for:
- legal, accounting, tax or vehicle-trade record-keeping;
- fraud-prevention and security;
- establishing, exercising or defending legal claims;
- contractual duties with the participating dealership; or
- backup and disaster-recovery cycles until those copies rotate out.
Dealership-controlled records (for example MOT bookings, workshop jobs, vehicle sales, enquiries and messages held for that garage) follow that dealership’s operational retention and legal duties. Sold-vehicle and transactional history may need to be kept even after a customer account is closed.
Timeline
We aim to acknowledge a verified deletion request within 30 days, and to complete deletion or confirm lawful retention within that period (or the longer period allowed by applicable UK data protection law where an exemption applies). Complex requests involving multiple dealerships or legal holds may take longer; we will say so if that applies.
Tracking your request
There is no automated self-service tracker yet. Use the same email thread with [email protected] (or the dealership desk) for status. Quote any reference we give you in our acknowledgement.
