Application Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Application Terms of Service govern your use of FiscalNode / DealerOS customer sign-in and public hub Account features on this install (including Sign in with Google and related personal-account providers).

They are platform / app terms. They are not the dealership’s vehicle sale Terms & Conditions. Each garage may publish its own sale terms at the hub Terms page (/terms). Buying a vehicle, paying a deposit, or accepting a sale is under that garage’s sale terms (and applicable consumer law), not under this document alone.

2. The service

FiscalNode / DealerOS is a UK dealer management platform. For customers, DealerOS lets you:

• sign in with a personal account (for example Google, using openid, email, and profile) on a garage’s public hub;
• view Account information linked to your email (such as MOT bookings, messages, or enquiries matched for that garage);
• use guest flows (for example guest MOT booking) without signing in, where the garage offers them.

FiscalNode provides the software platform. The garage provides the motor trade / MOT services you request from them. Staff use a separate sign-in (Microsoft Entra) to operate their dealership desk; these Application Terms are about customer sign-in and Account.

3. Your account

You must use an account you are entitled to use. Keep your Google (or other provider) account secure. You must not impersonate another person or use sign-in to access someone else’s bookings or messages.

We may suspend or end customer sign-in access if we reasonably believe the account is abused, presents a security risk, or breaches these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• probe, overload, or disrupt the hub, sign-in, or related systems;
• attempt to bypass authentication, tenancy, or access controls;
• use automated means to scrape personal data or abuse booking/enquiry forms;
• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
• reverse engineer the service except where the law allows.

5. Dealers’ own terms and content

Stock listings, prices, MOT availability, sale terms, and customer communications are controlled by the dealership. FiscalNode is not the seller of the vehicle and is not a party to the garage’s sale contract unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Always read the garage’s hub Terms before paying a deposit or completing a purchase.

6. Privacy

How we process personal information, including Google sign-in and Account data, is described in the Privacy Notice at /privacy on this install (canonical URL on the APP_URL host). By using customer sign-in you acknowledge that notice.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep sign-in and Account available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as DealerOS is updated. We may modify these Application Terms; the version published at the Terms of Service URL on this install applies going forward.

8. Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis for identifying you on a garage hub and matching related records. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, FiscalNode is not liable for the garage’s trade services, vehicle condition, or sale performance.

9. Governing law

These Application Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may use local courts where the law allows.
